Perception of telecom subscribers on unfair treatment from the network providers- part3

Details of survey distribution: Number of administered questionnaires (both electronic & paper copy) is 250,000. Number of returned questionnaires is 132,007. Study area/location is Nigeria – FCT, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Rivers. Response rate is 52.80%.
The survey also measured the network provider’s unfair treatment of their subscriber’s; through the frequency of unwarranted call credit deduction from subscriber’s phones. The following are the responses gotten for the question, “Do you get unwarranted deductions from your phone credit” posed to respondents. A total of 116,166 respondents stated yes to the question, this high number shows that unwarranted call credit deductions is a widespread problem experienced by telecom subscribers in Nigeria.
Data speaks: 116,166 translating to 87.99% of the total 132,007 respondents answered yes, to the question “Do you get unwarranted deductions from your phone credit” while only 15,841 answered no. The data returned indicates that the subscribers have a high perception that network providers are unfair to them through unwarranted deductions of their call credit.
